Where We Are

Project Kesho's mission is to support education in East Africa, which include Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. We have focused our main efforts in programming in two main areas. One area is near the town of Iringa, Tanzania and includes the Lundamatwe and Ulonge communities. The town is located in South-Central Tanzania along the Tanzam Highway, which stretches from the capital city of Dar es Salaam, along the coast of the Indian Ocean, and all the way through Tanzania to the country of Zambia. Our primary relationships in these villages are in connection with the local primary schools. The second area is located in Mityana, Uganda, which is approximately one hour west of Kampala. We have developed relationships with community members at a primary school and an orphanage called Little Angels.
