Healthy Children... Healthy Families... Healthy CommunitiesProject Kesho believes that health really matters for educational success.Healthy children can attend school regularly and also attend to the instruction in the classroom. Healthy families have parents who are able to work and therefore are able to afford to send their children to school each day. Healthy communities can look ahead to the future and plan for a better tomorrow.
The Lundamatwe Village Medical Clinic is run by the Medical Officer, Dr. Rajabu Are you interested in helping the medical clinic? The Lundamatwe community just recently opened its first medical clinic. This clinic was under construction for a number of years, but this summer Project Kesho was able to assist in some small needs for the opening of the clinic. The clinic is a beautiful facility still needing a number of key supplies including: beds, mattresses, a small refrigerator and shelving units for medical supplies.
Medical supplies donated by a Washington state student and her friends. Dr. Rajabu looking over the medical supplies! Click here for a list of needed medical supplies
